hello.

today i realise something. i realise that girls like guys who are tall. girls will tend to take aware of taller guys and those guys who at the average range or below average range always get isolated. those average height of 160 to 174cm, asian guy i'm referring to, normally single. i just dunno why.

look at my sec sch clique, hoong height of 171 is single, jackson height of 160 is single, guan height of 173 is single, fook height of 168 is single. ok la. ming height of 177 also single, maybe he is introvert. i just dunno why. even me, height of 169 also single too.

i heard from mich that there are more women than men in spore but why there are so many single men? weirdo right.. dont tell me that there are many old women in spore due to aging population? lol

besides my sec sch clique, my poly sch clique also have a number of people single. ppl like ec height of 168 is single, pc height of 173 is single, wl height of 173 is single, alex height of 167 also single. most of the guys i know are single. not all la.

i learnt a phrase from ec. he said, pretty girls married and handsome guys are gay. hahaha. so those single guys are all gay, i assume. but i'm not gay although i love to disturb my frens by touching. i guess its my stupid habit.

jacky wu also got say something which related to height. guys who didnt reach 170 is handicap. girls dont have B cup is handicap. damn. what a phrase.

is there any problem wid us? our personality, appearance, or really is becuz of our height? height is given by our parents' genes and the god will. its not what i want. i also wanna have the height of 180. but what now, 11cm away from it. so far.

there are some info i got it from the web, its abt girls prefer guys to be tall or short. most of the girls replied,

1. I personally like tall boys best. I don't really care if they are good looking or not, I just like an honest and sweet personality.

But that's easy for me, because I'm pretty short. But there are really tall people who end up with really short people too, and prefer it that way, so u never know. if so many girls want tall guys, then what abt the other guys who are short or average? stay single forever? does it mean that tall guys will have good personality? tall guys are handsome? tall guys got charisma or whatever shit? does height really matter?

HI

its been 2 days after i'm back from genting. really miss those 3 days in genting. i miss the weather, miss the people, miss the fun. it's a pity that we didnt go there for gambling. we didnt have the time. lol

we have alot of fun there. we went to "believe it anot" gallery to view those incredible stuffs, play arcade and got 500-600 over coupons, eat FREE baskin-robbins ice creams (woo~) and shopping for the first day.

second day, we went theme park, it was fun as the weather is cooling and i didnt sweat, there is snake and we touch it, eat tze char at mushroom land (mo gu yuan), sing k, disco night at ec's room and watch clash of the titans.

last day we eat buffet breakfast like a hungry ghost. haha. when i reached singapore, i was really tired. the night cycling trip was cancelled cuz ming, mich and reen cannot make it. so i went home and sleep. but now i'm still tired. didnt get to sleep full 8 hours when i was in genting.

ok. ytd, i met with my ernst and young ex-colleagues. we have not been meeting since 4 years. that was really long. yea. i rmb that time i was with mich. we eat zhong qing steamboat buffet at suntec city. after that we actually planned to go pub and drink but mich wanna go back. alright. so i accompany her home.

today i going to take "lil secret" clique jerseys. mich actually wanna accompany me to take those jersey but end up she pang seh me. so i went there alone. it look nice to me. i love the jersey font cuz its special than any other customised jersey. hais mich, always like that, disappointed.

today is 30th march. tml i will be going to genting for 3 days. fri night i will have night cycling and sat night i will be meeting wid my ernst and young ex-colleagues.

again, i will not be able to online for those days. so don miss me k. lol. i haven pack my bag yet. nah. i guess its still early to pack myy bag. tml then pack, now so late. i'mm tired and lazy now.

i spent alot today. $270 for 9 clique jersey. tsk tsk. now i have no money to pay jj for the genting trip. i guess i need to owe him first. opps. hope he forget. lol. when i telling them what they wan for the jersey name, the most surprise thing is ming say ok wid fatty ming. normally he dont. he will object it. i guess something might be happen to him, that's why he acting so weird.

i heard from hoong that this coming july has a trip to macau. another overseas trip. tsk tsk. i getting dried. someone pls donate money to me. i appreciate wid ur donation. hahaha. alright, i know i'm random.

i feel so boring at home today. nth else to do. so i watched hong kong series show, 珠光宝气. after watching 5 episodes, i ate handmade noodles and play l4d2 with garena people. i spent my day aimlessly.

today is jackson's birthday. happy birthday jackson. lol. i am happy but at the same time i am sad too. i'm not emo-ing. just has the mixed feeling in me.

there are 3 things which make me happy. 1st thing is jackson's birthday. my 10 years fren. i know him since i was in pri 5 (2000). cool. time had flew so fast and we are 21st this year. adult already. can watch R21 movies and go casino gamble. anyway i'm not into gambling stuffs. 2nd thing is manchester united won liverpool with the scoreline of 2-1. hahahaa! sorry to all liverpool fans. this prove that manutd is a better team and ASIAN DOMINATION. thanks to park ji sung. lastly, chelsea drew with blackburn and manutd become top of the table.

alright, stop my soccer for now. the thing which make me feel sad is because someone don't not like the job but due to the contract, it is a must to stay on working. i know this type of feeling. the time flew slowly. very tiring too. i hope u can cope well. don't be demoralised. i believe u can do it as long as u got the confident. i know i cant do anything. the only thing which i can help is to give moral support discreetly. 최선을 다했다 (try your best ok)! rmb what i always say, 万丈高楼平地起. u still have 2 months and 3 weeks to go. kambatei.

Hi blog.

It's been awhile for not blogging. Today is my first time using phone to blog. Hais. Both of my laptop and desktop had spoilt. Really very boring at home. I hope this won't last long.

A few days ago, i had my mst. All the modules are not prepare. Last min work again. Mst really driving ppl mad. Mad severely tolerant.

Finally it's holiday now. Ytd just celebrated fook's birthday. I hope he enjoyed. But i'm disappointed wid manchester united. They lose the match to aston villa. Hais. Really unlucky to the end. Hope they will come back before new year.

tired. body ache.

all come from night cycling yesterday. i went to night cycling wid guan, hoong, ming, helmi, reen and shallin this time round. as usual, 7 ppl trip. last time that night cycling is going towards east side. this time round, we go west. journey to the west.

we travel alot of places. this night cycling is better than the last trip. not as tired as last trip, body is not as ache as last trip too. places that we travelled were mountbatten road, guillemard road (my old place), geylang, kallang, bugis. speaking of bugis, i ride my bike into iluma shopping centre. i win my bet but i didnt got the money. dots.

alright back to the topic, after bugis we ride clarke quay, chinatown, outram park, then jalan bukit merah. finally we reached henderson road which has the henderson waves. we rest there for abt an hour plus, then we continue our ride. we cycled back to jalan bukit merah and went towards queenway shopping centre direction.

after that, we reached commonwealth mrt station, we continue our riding to sp. when i was in sp, i jump through the pond to enter sp. hehehe. i trespassed sp. but it doesn't matter. alright. nobody accompanied me in, so i go back to sp's bus stop where my clique are all there.

after 30 mins of resting, we decided to go back in a different route. we cycled back to commonwealth and from there, we cycled towards holland road. damn. talking abt that, there is a damn steep slope. as i was cycling down, i wanna do stun. end up i fell. hahaha. that helmi kept on laughing. evil sia. LOL. there's a photo taken when i fell. i will posted once i got those photos.

we cycled and cycled. we rest at a petrol station for awhile and grab some bites. after which, we continue and cycled towards tanglin mall which located at orchard. alright, from orchard to somerset and somerset to dhoby ghaut. we rided to bugis and from bugis, we go towards nicoll highway.

i rmb at nicoll highway, hoong and i keep on look back for cars. then we kept on ring those bells. making alot of noises. when there's no cars at our back, hoong start to ring his bell for the opposite lane car. hahaa. nth better else to do ah. just kidding, cuz after that i also did that too.

after that we reached mountbatten road. from mountbatten road, we rided back to ecp and watch sun rise. although there is no rain, but there is CLOUD. hais. i like the ff7 cloud that character, but not those dark cloud which block the sun rise. another disappointed sight again. okok. so this is how we spent our journey to the west.

we gain nothing but fun. next night cycling will be towards south. that's all for today. sayonara!

today i'm going to show u what is a classic match look like. to let u guys know, not many teams can perform a classic match. did u ever see chelsea win a classic match? the answer is no. u only can see them LOSE in a classic match. hahaha! what a joke man.

besides chelsea, did u ever see any other team which win in a gloriest way? there is one and only team, MANCHESTER UNITED. in 1999, they concede a goal in uefa champions league final to bayern munich but in the end, they win by 2-1. that was 1 of the classic matches with can make united fans' heartbeat pump 5 or 7 times within 0.1 second.

next, united once lose to spurs in first half by 3-0. but what happened in the second half?? hahaha. van nistelrooy scored the equalising goal and bring united confident to win back 5-3. and lastly, in the year 2009.. united performed another classic match against manchester city.

to me, manchester city is another chelsea. bullshit teams. both of these teams used $$$ to buy trophies. they spoilt the entertainment of football. so manchester city, U DESERVED TO GET HUMILIATED BY MANCHESTER UNITED. did u guys ever heard glory glory mancity before. NO! NO WAY AT ALL. becuz the word "glory" is only suitable for manchester united.

alright i will stop all the politic about football. but i wanna send 1 message to chelsea and mancity. I DESPISED U. just rmb, money is not everything. don think u buy tevez, toure the ex-arsenal fucking betrayer, bellamy the great shit, adebayor another black etc etc and u will win the premier league.

mancity, u can scored against manutd is due to the defending error. there is only 1 goal i find it nice. the second goal scored by bellamy. if foster and ferdinand didnt made stupid mistakes for the first and third goals u scored, u think u guys can equalised so easily? FAT HOPE MAN! if no mistake from united defenders and keeper, the scoreline will be 4-1 instead of 4-3.

today is 23092009. it's result day for all sp students. everyone must be nervous ba. some of u might not want to face the reality, some of u eager to know your result. so which categories do u belong to? to me last semester, i eager to know my result becuz i got a feeling of doing well. but this semester, i not. maybe i know that this semester i will do slightly bad compared to last semester.

alright. stop all the result thing. i hope everyone good luck for their result. anyway what's done is done. nothing will be changed even if u cried till your eyes go swollen. it's 2.48am in the morning. all my frens told me that there is no email notification for the result slip. hahaha. maybe this semester, the admin ppl lazy to post it or what. whatever it is, go sleep ba. no use waiting already. tml can wake up early to check your result.

ytd was a special day. 20092009. it happen once in my lifetime. lol. for the past few days i had not been blogging. i had been going out wid my pri sch and sec sch frens. it was fun but i still feel that something was still missing. hmmm. feel kinda sad and disappointed.

18092009 - FYP. hais.
19092009 to 20092009 - go msia wid weipeng, sauchong and reen.
20092009 - watch manutd vs mancity match wid ernest and mich.

luckily manutd brighten up my day. hahaha. they won mancity wid a bang! this match is classic. many ppl say that was a lucky goal from manutd. that is all bullshits. stop saying lucky goal or what. the last goal was not lucky at all. it is all about teamwork, experience and skills from ryan giggs and micheal owen.

if u guys don know football, don make any assumptions or comments. u are talking to a die-hard manutd fan here and i had been watching soccer since 1998. i know how to differentiate what is a lucky goal and what is a nice goal.

mancity. i hope u learn 1 thing, money cannot buy everything! pls. learn ur lesson well. spent so much money for what?? soccer is entertainment not business. get it? although i'm a manutd fan, but i salute arsenal. they are the best. grooming youngsters to become superstars. that is call football. chelsea and mancity, middle finger for u man.

1 last thing, soccer is not overrated. neither it's underrated. if u don know soccer, pls don bullshit around as if u know it. especially in fb. i'm referring to u, evan lim! (chai juli's fren). u not happy, just bring it.

it's been long time i blogged. anyway today i went out to bras brasah complex wid pc to buy materials for my fyp. yea. i met him in bugis 1.15pm. both of us didnt late surprisingly. we reached bras brasah and found our materials within 5 mins. that was fast. i didnt expected that all the stuffs we needed all sold there. lucky us. hahaha.

once i reached home after buying all the materials for fyp, i watched peter chao's video clips on youtube. i didnt realised that i watched all the episodes he filmed. damn it. he is one funny man! i really salute u man. u are one chinese proud. the one who dare to act and dare to say abt anything.

today i having fyp the whole day. kinda tired right now. anyway i'm unlucky. when i was doing my fyp, one of my fyp mates pang ching, he swing his hand and hit my N95. then it drop onto the floor.

argghh.. this is the second time my phone drop. the previous incident also the same thing. fook swing his hand and hit my phone. i rmb that was on ming's birthday. lol

hi blog.
today i feel kinda moody. hmmmm. that's why i can't sleep. I realised that there is something called "blogspot" for me to spend my time. i just being random. it's been 2 days i didnt update my blog. i don't know got how many people reading my blog but i hope that it is not too long for not updating blog.

first of all, i wanna welcome jackson for moving to admiralty. haha. we can meet up often if we have time. you can also have more chances to ask her out too. you know what i mean. too bad today i didnt help you moved house. hais. i volunteered to help you yet you rejected me. LOL. ok la. just kidding wid you.

from the past 2 days, i have been busying going out wid my frens. i really enjoy it. i hope you guys enjoy too. on friday (5 september), i went out wid jackson, hoong, ming, guan, saiful, helmi, zahidah, muneera and jasvin. first of all, hoong, ming, saiful and me went to amk raiders play l4d. we play a expert campaign mode. then the next 2 maps, we start to play vs mode when jackson, guan and helmi arrived. hais. matin didnt come, if not we can play 4 v 4 vs mode which is more fun.

anyway stop wid all the gaming stuffs. i not a 24 hours gamer. just that i have nothing to do, so i play some games to pass my time. we play for about 3 hours in the lan shop. i was happy as i will all the rounds along with hoong. (: after that, we went to singapore flyer. we ate popeye. anyway this is the first time jackson eat popeye. the last time ming, reen and me accompany jackson to eat carls' junior. that is his first time eating carls' junior too.

alright back to the topic on friday's trip, we went to eat popeye. anyway i still prefer KFC than popeye. i just dunno why. maybe becuz of the taste of the chicken ba. we having a hard time finding table as the fastfood restaurant was fully packed. it might be due to the dinner-time (6-8pm). in the end, we still manage to find some seats. zahidah, muneera and jasvin came to join us for dinner. all the malays are fasting. that's why the fat ass helmi, he eat alot. hahaha. he is the boomer in our clique. next is ming. LOL.

after our dinner in popeye, we went to esplanade to chill. we listen to some unknown band outside esplanade and also enjoy the scenery of the lights. we sat near the sea and chi-chat. talk and talk and talk till the time reached 10.30pm. we start to take some nonsense pictures which initiated by saiful that joker.

i rmb that i ate 2 lollipops on that day. hahaha. i only eat watermelon flavour. it tasted nice. after slacking at esplanade, we went home. on the way back home, we played "open number" in train. for your information, open number is a game which a group of people standing in circle and show the number range from "1-5" and added them together. we will count the fingers shown by the people and was added up together. the "lucky" one will get forfeit.

the forfeit is to hit the "lucky" one by the rest of the people who were playing. anyway i was the unlucky unlucky one. whereas ming was the lucky unlucky one. this is become he hardly kena but when he kena, all of us hit him damn hard! as for hoong, he was the unlucky lucky one, he kena alot of times but all of us hit him damn light! by this, you can see most of us hate ming than hoong. hahaha. just kidding. it's not true ming. i just being lame.

time really flew very fast when we played "open number." we enjoy the day. but the objective of meeting was not done at all. we suppose to take a teachers day greeting's video. none of us took it except jackson. anyway, we can take it at home and send it to saiful. hahaha. talking abt this, i totally forget to take a video. tml is the due day liao. lol. anyway this is how i spent my day on 5 september.

the next day (6 september), i went out as usual. we going to ms ong place and have steamboat. surprisingly, i didnt sleep for full 8 hours. i went to have supper with mich. we chat and chat till morning 6.30am. then i went home. i fell asleep around 8.15am and woke up by a call from ming around 8.40am. damn. i just sleep for 25mins.

then ming was at market buying all the ingredients for steamboat. after that, i went down and find ming. hoong was there too. the 3 of us went to sheng siong at wdl centre and after that, ming and hoong went to my house and prepared all the ingredients. i rmb that i was really very tired but i cant sleep. the rest of the guys were waiting at ms ong's place. they keep on calling us saying that they are hungry. hahaha. this is what i heard from hoong. he said fook keep on complaining.

at my place, ming cut the chicken thigh into pieces while i cut the vegetables and mushrooms. hoong and i peel the prawn shells and the squids. anyway my mum also got help too. after all the preparation (i didnt specify everything), mich called me. she say she coming over my place and meet me. so ming and i were waiting for her while hoong ride his bike back hoong and changed.

when mich reached, ming and i were packing all the preparations and realised that the fish fillets and the pork were missed out during the preparation. ming and i sian diao. but time is running out, so we decided to do it in ms ong place. alright. i stop being so detailed.

we reached ms ong place and mich start to cut the fish fillet into pieces while i wash the pork. we also washed some fishballs, meatballs, chickenballs etc etc. then we start our steamboat after the soup was ready. we eat and eat. chat and chat. hoong has no space, so i help him wid all the foods. ended up, they said that i was gay. keep on lovey dovey wid hoong. dots. i'm not gay. but i dunno whether hoong is gay anot.

after the steamboat, we watch ponyo. hahah. i almost fell asleep but i didnt. i tahan my tiredness. then we give ms ong our present which is the self made happy teachers day video. ms ong was happy. we divert guan's attention for the birthday cake thing. anyway guan's birthday was on 6 september. we celebrated with him in advanced. guan do not know we have cake for him. he was surprised. hahahaha. i rmb what he said in chinese. "wa. come out so sudden" LOL.

he wished for his birthday but in the end it didnt come true. hahaha. he wish for winning a foldable bike for buying a gundam model but he didnt win at all. he told me that it's offically saying that birthday wishes is not realistic. hahahaha.

after that, we slack awhile in ms ong place. we played "open number" again. fook was the one who always kena the forfeit. actually is we purposely de. ming, guan, hoong and me cheated in the game but fook didnt realised it. initially he said that we cheated. but we convinced him in the end. hahaha! damn fun. we hit his forehead damn hard, especially ming. i think ming taking revenge for the hard slap from helmi in the train on 5 september.

alright. after all the fun, we leave ms ong place. we went to eat desserts. after that, ming, hoong, guan and me went to cwp to watch movie. it was called "i love you, beth cooper." this movie was nice. kinda romantic too. lol. it's showing how a nerd confessed his love to a hot babe. this nerd really got courage. good one.

after the movie, it was late night around 11pm. we went home decided to play l4d but end up guan didnt online at all. hoong waited till 1am while i waited till 3am. dots. guan u piang seh us. that's all for the day on 5 september.

anyway i wish guan a "happy birthday!". i hope u can find a person to adore. same goes to me. can i have the chance? i really hope i can. hmmmmm. anyway i gonna post some pictures which we took on 5 september tml. bye blog!

hi blog.
today i very tired. hahahaha. ytd slp 4 hrs only.
today outing quite fun.
we went to vivo eat carls' junior and watch movie.
we watch the final destination.
lol. reen don't dare to watch this movie.
but cuz she late, we buy the movie tickets first.
then when she arrived, we said that we watching "dance flick."
i think she don't believe us ba.
but the 3 of us, jack, ming and me still insisted that it's not
the final destination. hahahaha.
then we keep saying that "reen, u don't believe us sia. hais.
we know for how long already? why there is a need to bluff u."
i think from that moment, she started to believe us ba.
but it's sort of didn't believe us 100%.
LOL. yea. then just nice the poster of "dance flick" and
"the final destination" are just side to side. so we point at the poster from
far. jack and i said: "hey ming, we watching that movie right?"
hahahaha. actually we pointing at the final destination poster.
but i really look like we pointing at the dance flick poster as it just beside.
i guess reen believe us abt 75% ba. we are having fun tricking her.
then she ask the ticket receiver what movie we watching.
i keep on hinting to the ticket receiver that we watching dance flick.
but then hor. that ticket receiver was too honest!
she told reen that, it's "the final destination."
diao. i so sway. standing beside reen. kena beat like hell.
jack and ming so heng. both walk so far. u guys smart hor. -.-
anyway long time didnt been so mischievous already.
too bad hoong u not there. if not reen might believe us even more since
u look like a good guy in our clique. (look like only ah)
if guan was there and act together, reen confirm get tricked.
but what i scare is guan will expose our lie. hahahaa.
anyway u girls didnt see guan's mischievous side. LOL.

wah. just now play 1 round of l4d, then now 1am already.
time flew so fast when playing game.
basically, today i was slacking the whole day.
i slp around 7am in the morning and woke up 3pm in the afternoon.
hahaha. the whole night i was having movie marathon.
watching hk series. then cant slp.
when i woke up, my sis bought me a lollipop.
i was thinking how come my sis suddenly so good to me. lol.
then after that i found out actually she bought me lollipop is due to
her guilt. tsk tsk. nvm. i forgive her. then i went to cwp.
i bought a usb controller. the one which can play pro evolution.
this coming saturday, i'm going to take the file from hoong.
oh ya. this evening, i met pc, s.h.a.y, terence, violet and her bf.
eat what u know? ba ku teh. LOL. this bring in some memories.
u know who i'm referring to.
i waited for them around more than 30 mins. stand at the control
station like a dummy. when they reached, i talk to them but they didnt
bother me. wtf. i asking them not to stand in the middle of the pathway.
they are blocking the pathway which many ppl coming out from the control
station. yet they still didnt hear what i say. sadded. kena rejected.
so i stand at the side of the pathway along wid pc.
then i told pc that they are discriminating polymer.
for your info, polymer is from my course (one of the options).
many ppl say that polymer is EM3. ya. this words come out from fatty lim cs.
EM1 = IC
EM2 = food
EM3 = polymer
i guess most of the lecturers in dcp also think that too.
for example, that lam ks.
whatever it is, we should not be discriminated.
nvm. i stop talking abt all this polities thing from dcp.
oh, so after that we went to eat ba ku teh. there were 8 of us. (terence was late)
so we order 4 big pot of ba ku teh. 2 persons shared 1 pot.
the funny part is stacy. she dunno how the order system works.
then she go order. lol. end up ordering the one she don like.
she keep on suan-ing me. dunno what i did to her in her previous life.
i'm not duck, i'm not rabbit. dots.
abit sway sia. when i accompany them to the bus stop,
pc ask me to board the bus. then i really board. haha.
cuz ba ku teh stall and my house is just 1 bus stop away only.
then when i boarded the bus, the next bus stop i need to get down already.
but end up, i press the door bell but the bus driver just open the front
exit door and didnt even open the back exit door which i was standing.
in the end, the bus driver ignored me. he didnt open the door and just
drive. wth sia. so sway. then i drop the next stop.
when i drop the next stop, the door is making fun of me.
open and close and open close. the door almost knocked my head.
hais.
initially s.h.a.y ignored me at the wdl control station.
then next is the bus driver. make me so embarrassed. all of them laughing
at me when the bus driver ignore my door bell.
now my head abit dizzy. i think i lack of slp.
i must slp more than 8hrs. if not i cannot tahan. lol.
i'm looking forward for tml's outing.
meeting ming, reen and jack. hahaha. very weird outing.
becuz normally we go out in clique of 10. this time round is 4.
actually ming and jack doesnt wan to go initially.
then after that they change mind. hehehh.
reen, they spoilt our outing right? lol.
just kidding. ok la. i always lame.
i heard that "the final destination" not nice.
hmmm. dunno whether wanna watch anot sia.
cuz the previous 3 movies of final destination quite ok.
my sis keep on bullying her bf. but surprisingly, her bf like it -.-
at least her current bf treat her good.
last time her ex-bfs. i really very pissed off.
i don like them at all. my mum also. those 27 years old ah beng.

today i have nth to do besides revising for tml exam.
anyway i watched manutd's match. hahaha.
manutd 2-1 arsenal. that was great man!
congrats to all manutd's fans.
manutd always stop the winning streak of arsenal.
but i must admit that this match really show what is "lady luck."
obviously, lady luck is smiling at manutd side.
especially the own goal by arsenal player. lol
ok. i stop my soccer-ing. it will make u guys bored.
exam exam exam. why there is exam?
exam cannot really determine one's capability.
it only can determine that moment of time, how the person will perform.
if the person do not feel well, they will not do well for that
particular exam. am i right? hmmmm.
so i think that exam should be redundant.
what i mean is it should be eliminated.
during exam period, it make ppl stress. some of the ppl will tend to fall sick,
some of them will tend to panic. haha. yea. and most of them will
mugging mugging and studying studying.
now i was hoping monday evening 6pm faster comes. hahaha.
oh ya. after exam, still got fyp to do. no holiday sia.
i think almost every weekdays need to do fyp, behind time already.
hmmm. i think i might not be able to go for the redang trip during
17,18,19 september. sorry junda and miaobi.
ok. i stop talking abt exam and sch work. make me stress here. lol.
these few days, there is a mad woman keep on walking around at my
house outside corridor. i heard that this mad woman always go outside
beg money from ppl. idle around the void deck and keep on pestering those
uncles and boys. nowadays got many mad ppl around. sometimes i pity those ppl
but sometimes i find them irritating. walking in front of my house
give me an uncomfortable feeling. oh ya. one of my neighbor house
has been burglar. dunno who is the culprit. hmmmm. need to becareful already.
if not will become the next target. lol. my desktop spoilt again.
i think i need to get a new desktop already.
no point repairing it. waste of money. hais.
why keep on talking abt unhappy stuffs? make all of u feel sad too.

it's seem like years i didnt blog. kinda forget how to blog already.
haha. anyway this 2 weeks i having exams.
on the coming monday, that's my last paper already.
i didnt plan to blog today.
just that got a person complained that i didnt update my blog.
so i just wanna prove her wrong.
i guess those who know me well should know who is that irritating person
PESTERING me. LOL.
i just kidding. don't be angry hor. irritating person.
i was at home the whole day. eat shit slp and study.
hais. today i stare my composite lecture notes for the whole day.
but i don't understand. didnt pay attention in class.
sometimes didnt even come cuz overslept.
luckily my exams, i didnt overslept. u know why?
hahaha. cuz all my papers are all afternoon papers. heng ah.
if not i sure late one. i rmb last time when i was in sec sch,
i always late. somemore i'm the class chairperson sia. always the last one
to take the class diary. my form teacher also nag at me.
and hoong also another late king. haha.
i think both of us got the most pink slips. lol
oh ya. back to today, composite lecture notes. hais
so lousy sia. and so messy. out of all the lessons, i only
understand calculations part. all i hope is all the calculations come out
can already. the rest can don't come out.
but that will never happen. anyway tonight is the day.
MANUTD victory day. hahaha. i had predicted manutd will win arsenal by
3-0. manutd win = nigel win.
yaya. call me manutd siao. i know u guys will say that behind my back.
i don mind. anyway that is not manutd siao.
that is loyal manutd supporter.
i'm glad that i can influence my frens to support the same team wid me.
hahahaha. jackson, hoong and mich.

hmmm. very creative. every songs got different stun.

my sec sch clique have celebrated his birthday on friday
20 March 2009.
we went to marina square to eat yuki yaki.
most of the ppl late.
surprisingly, i am the first one who reach the place first.
after that is hoong, fook, guan, shallin, ming, jackson.
damn u jackson, ur birthday u came the latest.
"actually not the latest la"
still got 2 ppl more late. reen and mich.
both reen and mich got OT for their itp so nvm.
but jackson. ur birthday le, yet so late.
hahaha. k la. since is ur birthday, i FU.
FU is not a bad word, it means "forgive u" in short. lol.
we have alot of fun while waiting for reen and mich. hmmm.
what to start first.
ohh
firstly, i waited hoong at raffles city, the waterfall area.
he reached about 10 mins time. then we went to see crumpler bags.
see what type of design to get for the birthday boy.
after that, guan came and meet us. haha. then shallin called me.
she said that she don't know how to come to raffles city.
dots.
it just beside the mrt station. yet she dunno. lol.
she only know how to club but dunno how to walk town area.
just kidding. don take it seriously k, shallin the horse.
after meeting wid the jackson who is the last one to reach,
we walk to marina square through city link.
yea. at the big area of the marina square, u guess what is the event held there?
haha. that time already past 8. so the modelling event ended.
i think it's a aftermath of the modelling event.
ppl there give out free soft drinks.
u know how jackson reacted?
hahahaha. he keep on encourage us to take the drinks.
he said that it is our "kam ka na" mission.
for ppl who duno what is kam ka na means. it means "niao and cheapo"
haha. he ownself admit that he is kam ka na and still pull me into the picture as wel
he called me "da shi xiong (senior)." siao sia. haha. that means he said i more niao.
actually i'm not lor.
anyway let's get back to the story again.
ok. he go and queue for the free soft drinks.
he take and take and take. haha, i forget to record it down.
or else it will be very funny. lol
all my frens also laugh out loud.
his action really shows that he is kam ka na.
then we meet ming and fook at outside yuki yaki.
our reservation is at abt 8.30pm.
hmm so we wait.
yea. we took a few photos in front of yuki yaki.
and also we drank out free soft drinks.
hehehehheh. after that, jackson and i wanna throw away the can drinks.
then we went to find the bin. lol.
after throwing the can drinks, he turned around and he said he saw a
mediacorp artistes. but he just forget what his name.
lol. then he keep on pointing at the artistes and at the same time
walking towards him. damn ps sia. haha. so i followed him.
then when in front of the artistes, i told him that he is "chen han wei"
lol. jackson shouted: wah! he damn tall sia." (actually jackson height is 159cm)
that's why his reaction so exaggerate!
lol.
so after that, we went back to outside yuki yaki again.
i told my clique his reaction just now.
then the whole clique laughed.
hahaha. then jackson and i went to atm and draw money again.
we saw chen han wei again. this is the sec time.
jackson exaggerate his action again.
he immediately pointed at him and walk towards chen han wei.
he shouted, pointed and walk: hey nigel,
u see chen han wei chen han wei chen han wei chen han wei chen han wei!"
siao sia. lol. i feel so ps again.
then i think chen han wei muz be heard of what jackson shouted.
so i guess this is the reason why he (chen han wei) walk back again.
he (chen han wei) walk in front of us numerous times.
haahahaha. hmmm. i was thinking that he (chen han wei) like this type of feeling.
the third time we saw chen han wei, without fail,
jackson reaction come again.
he shouted: hey nigel u see "chen han wei" x5...
then after that, we went back to outside yuki yaki again. then jackson joked.
he said: hmmm, just now i should went towards chen han wei and ask him
whether he wan my signature anot. i can give him."
(normally is we get the artistes signature, not the other way)
then another of my fren, hoong, he said..
"no no, u should go the and tell chen han wei, take photo pls."
then i ask why?
"he said when we said: "take photo pls",
chen han wei might think we wan to take
photo wid him. but actually is not. is we need him to help our clique take our
photo."
then the whole clique went LOL again!
haha. so after waiting for mich and reen to come..
then we go in to yuki yaki to eat.
there are 2 places to sit. cuz we got 9 ppl. so there will be 2 tables lor.
but it's side to side de. then got 1 table there, got alot of girls.
another one dont have. so when i saw that, hahaha. i said wahh. another table got
girls to see. then all the guys chiong there and sit liao.
left the girls to sit at another table. LOL.
(that is normal guys reaction. i guess. haha)
actually i'm choosing a good seat to have a good view, but that jackass
(for ur info "jackass = jackson")
that jackass pushed me away and sit on the seat i wanted.
hahahaha. nvm. so in the end i got the bad view of it. lol.
we eat and eat and eat and eat. wahh. that jackson keep on joking that
got a girl is his gf. lol.
(he is in his dreamland so can dont bother him)
after that, we got lots of food, but cant finish the last plate.
so u know what jackson suggested??
he said: since we cant finish, we help the staffs to put the food back la!"
hahaha. then i dare him, surprisely he normally damn timid.
now he different liao wor. he dare. haha. but still he ask hoong to be the
medium to cover him. i have recorded this scene. lol.
haha!

after that, we have our fried ice cream.
damn jackson, his kam ka na action come again.
he take alot of flavours of the ice cream.
i eat till my stomach going to burst.
so sweet and fattening. heheheh.
but it's ok, sweet stuff is fine to me.
we spent the whole evening at yuki yaki till 11pm.
hahaha. we joke, we eat, we fool around.
that is so fun.
then after which we go back home, so on that day,
jackson went to my place to sleep.
haha. before sleeping, we talk alot.
we already very tired liao. we still talk.
then we eventually talk things which is no sense and not related to
the topic. haha. we look so stupid.
hmmm. anyway we have fun on fri and also have fun on sat.
we went to lan and play l4d for the whole night till 1am.
i felt that hoong, jack and i team together,
we seems to be so good till our opponents don want to play wid us
still got a bastard keep on scolding us. haha
cuz he cant even get to touch us.
such a sore loser. lol. it's just a game ma.
after 1am, hoong and i miss the last train.
so we spent our night at the opposite mac. jackson acc us.
haha. at that period of time, we already very tired liao.
but no choice. cant go back. take cab ex.
play lan so long, then dont have enough $$ liao.
the lan there so fun. we rule that place.
next time go back there and play again. lol

Hi everyone! Every since the school term start,
I have not been blogging already.
I didn't even login to this account for a very long period.
Not because I am busy. Haiz.
Just that I dunno what to blog.
But today i got a lot of things to say.
Hmm
Most of the people will blog to say about what they do etc etc etc,
but I blog is to vent my anger.
Because i know that even if I beat the hell out of that person I dislike,
the person I dislike will still do not wake up. DAMN IT!

Today I woke up at the time of 10.30am.
Nothing to do. I saw my mum preparing lunch for the family.
Food smell nice. But it seems to be too healthy for me.
Haha. Because for the past few days, I am quite sick.
I have cough and sorethroat.
Luckily my fever is gone within a few hours after I ate the fever medicine
before i went to bed.

I think I getting out of the point. I blog is because I' m
going to vent my anger!
My god damn it sister! Damn no manners!
I think 1 day I'm going to beat the hell out of her.
Shouted at my mum but actually is her own fault.
WHO THE BLUE HELL DO U THINK U ARE?!!

Ytd I went to my dad's place.
Woke up 10am in the morning. Damn tired.
But still have to wake up because my dad already waiting for me.
I took a bus 903 to woodlands bus interchange.
I wait for the bus for around 15 mins. Argh.. the bus is damn slow.

I took a train towards MarinaBay.
Wait for the train about 4 mins.
At least waiting for train is faster than waiting for bus.
Nowadays bus service really sucks. So slow.
I think most probably is due to the custom jam. Argh..
Staying near the woodlands custom also not good at all.

When i was in the train, I listen to mp3.
Songs like "when i grow up", "heartbreaker" so on and so for.
While listening to mp3, I fell asleep.
The train is still as crowded as ever.
I wonder when I will own my dream car.
I alighted at CityHall. That place is forever crowded! Haha!

I change train going towards PasirRis.
From there on, I saw alot of secondary school students.
I wonder at around 11.30am, they should be in school studying ba..
Haha.. Never mind. Also not my business.
After which, I alighted at Eunos mrt station.
My ankle still haven totally recovered.
So I didn't walk to my dad's place. I took bus 63 to my dad's place.

About the 5th or 6th stop, I saw there is a newly built secondary school.
Hmmm.. Long time didn't come to Ubi Ave.
The places there changes alot! But to be frank.. I don't really like Ubi Ave.
I still prefer my old place, at Guillimard Road. That is a private estate area.
Haha. Long time things don't say liao.

I reach block 348 at 12pm sharp.
When I got there, I saw my dad sleeping. Dotx.
Haha. Talk to him for around a few hours.
Then we ate lunch together. Was so lonely.
Because suppose my sister should accompany me to find my dad.
But then my sister had to work. That's why I went there alone.
I ate curry chicken rice there. Stomach was damn full.

After that, I watch channel 8. Quite boring.
Argh. Dunno when my ankle will be fully recovered.
Then when was about 6.30pm,
my dad said he wanna bring me to pray and to bandage my ankle.
We went to upper serangoon road. Long time didn't go there already.
But the place still have not changed.
The mosque is still there, the old shopping centre is still there,
the coffee shop and the vegetarian restaurant is still there.

The only thing which changed is there are mrt stations
around that area, like serangoon mrt station and kovan mrt station.
As usual, the hillside drive there got many private estate.
My dad keep on telling me the past story.
Saying that in the past when he was rich,
he was thinking of buying one of the private estate and earn rental fee.
But in the end he choose to invest all his money on business
rather than buying an private estate.

Haiz. Long time thing don't say better.
Say liao then think about now being so poor also very sad.
Damn. 
I swear to myself that I will earn many money 
to get back the life I live in the past.
Was born to be a sliver spoon,
but because of bankruptcy, we become poor.
Doing everything still need to consider the cost 
whether we afford anot.
Haiz haiz haiz!

After praying, I went to bandage my ankle.
I think now my ankle is around 90% recovered.
But my dad still bu fang xin.
Still want me to bandage my ankle.
Yeah. I know this is father love -.-
My dad as usual give me alot of things to bring back home.
My bag is damn heavy.
Taking all kind of stuffs, like food, drinks,
chinese medical oil for sprain ankle to apply etc etc etc.

Then my dad and me going to different way.
He go back to Ubi Ave and as for me, I go back to Woodlands.
But then my dad still want to accompany me to kovan mrt station.
Haiz. He should go back and take a good rest.
Tomorrow still need to go and work. Dotx.
When reach kovan, he don't even sure how to go back.
In the end still need me to navigate him. Diao...
I happened to have stomachache before entering the mrt station.
I told my dad to go back first. I go find toilet

The funny thing is when I found the toilet,
the toilet is under maintainence. Argh.
Make me tahan and go back to take train back to woodlands.
As usual, mrt train always will have alot of people.
But purple line do not have many people.
I get the chance to sit on the seat. Haha.
After the whole day, I damn tired.
Of course got place to sit is the best la. Plus my ankle still injury.

Listen to mp3 songs, on the way back to woodlands,
I think I saw ruby, my pri sch fren but now didnt contact liao.
But then I can't really confirm that girl I saw is ruby. Hmmm.
It reminds me about the past, this girl carried a touch wid me
and yet I didnt even know about it. Haha! Long time thing liao,
now say also useless.

I reached home, do all my stuffs then watch television.
Wait till around 12am then I online. Hahaha..
So late right..
Yeah. and today, once I woke up,
I played my ps2 game, winning eleven 11 the whole day.
Then now I online.
Today is quite boring. Nothing to do.
Thinking of celebrating ec's birthday but end up he got F1 thing to do.
Haha. Celebration cancel. Now slacking, but still very SIAN.

Today is result day.
I got my result, did quite okay.
I wonder how's my friends result?
Didn't manage to ask all of my friends.
My ankle is recovering.
But still limping.
Tomorrow still need to meet my dad.
Have to go all the way to Eunos.
Damn far away from Woodlands.

Yesterday I talk to my jie.
Finally got to tell what I feel in my heart about mich.
You know that the feeling very uncomfortable when always keep it into my heart.
Yeah. I know that it's time to let go.
I realised that my recovering is very very slow.
Never mind.
I believe that time will change everything.

it has been a few weeks and i have not been blogging
2 days later, result will be coming out.
that is very fast.
at home have been very boring
just watching Hong Kong series, eat and sleep
thinking of working but just can't find a job
my ankle is still hurt
still limping
cannot really walk properly.
yesterday was mooncake festival
long time didnt get to eat mooncake,
it seems like 3 or 4 years liao.
i didnt even get to touch a single mooncake
even there is an ice-cream mooncake
i also forget liao
really long time didnt celebrate.

Giggs: We're still tops

Despite the dramatic events across the city at Eastlands, Ryan Giggs insists United are still the biggest club in world football.

On a hectic last day of the summer transfer window on Monday, Manchester City announced they had been taken over by Dr Sulaiman al-Fahim and his Abu Dhabi United company and later revealed the stunning last-minute capture of Real Madrid attacker Robinho for £34.2million from under Chelsea's noses.

Giggs admits to being intrigued by the recent goings-on at City, but maintains his stance that history and tradition sets United apart from the rest.

"City have the richest owner in the world but I still see United as the biggest club in the world," insisted the winger.

"United have a status and history that it has taken years to build up. It stretches back to the Busby Babes, to players like Sir Bobby Charlton and George Best. It will be very interesting to see what happens at City, but what we have at United is very special.

"You see it when we go abroad in pre-season, you appreciate how popular United is. We have fans in India, China, South America. That popularity is a result of our history. Money can't necessarily get you that.

"A lot will depend on the players they buy, how quickly they gel and how they handle the attention," he added, in response to being questioned about whether City can break into the top four.

"People have been asking for a long time now if somebody can break into the group. People will expect that club to be City and there will be a lot of pressure on them each season now. Everybody's attention will be on Manchester."

While City made most of the headlines on transfer deadline day, United made news of their own after securing the services of Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham.

"With the transfer window, as a player you follow what's happening like a fan," admitted Giggs. "You're completely in the dark about the situation, just hoping that the player will sign. So, I was delighted when the deal went through.

Title: 2 fighting cats

Technique: Drama; Emotion

Description: Before taking this picture, i was about to look for some animals and take their photos. In a meanwhile, i heard 2 cats screaming at each other. I quickly take a few shots of these 2 cats. Out of so many photos taken, this picture shows the best "few seconds" drama show. One of the cats which is very fierce and another cat which is very scared of the angry cat. I realised that these 2 cats are fighting over a spot to rest. I believe that the spot must be very comfortable for them.

Title: Young girls at beach

Technique: Drama; Emotion; negative space

Description: This photo is taken at the beach of east coast park. The negative space of the picture is the sea. It give a very soothing feeling and also suit the background of these young girls. It shows the emotion of the girls as well. They seems to be very happy. I took this photo without the girls noticed. The reason is because i want the picture to give a very natural feeling of bonding between friends. They took a group photo which can capture the happiness moment of friendship.

Title: Pigeon looking for food

Technique: Drama; Detail

Description: Taking the photo of a pigeon or bird is rather difficult. I try it many times to take photo of birds. I zoomed in the picture when taking the photo. But the people at the beach will always scare away the pigeons which make me even harder to capture the scene. I have capture the detail of the background. This is to show that the pigeon is looking for food. In this case, the pigeon is pecking something on the sand. On the sand, it shows some rubbish and tree branches everywhere. It also shows the detail of the seawater rushing to the shore as well too.

Title: Bangala keeping the environment clean and green

Technique: Drama; Depth

Description: This is the candid shot taken when the bangala worker is picking rubbish in the public. I believe that he is a cleaner who is working at the seashore. The scenery of the sea give a very natural feeling and there are ships at the far center of the background. This shows the depth of the photo and also the weather on that day as well too. The weather seems to be very blur and i believe that the far end of the sea is raining. The reason is because after a while, it started to rain. There is not much lighting (eg. sunlight) showing in this picture as the weather is rather humid.

Title: My mother's pencil case

Technique: Front Light

Description: I took this photo by using a lamp. I purposely choose to take the photo of my mum's pencil case because I find it very interesting and cute because I can hardly find a 40 years old lady owns a doggy pencil case. I adjusted the lighting to the front because I prefer a clear information given in the photograph. By lighting the entire scene of the object, it will provide us the most information. It is also the easiest type of lightings to deal with because there are fewer shadows to confuse the camera's light meter. I can see that the shadow is slightly facing to the back of the pencil case.

Title: My mother's pencil case

Technique: Side Light

Description: Besides taking the pencil case of front lighting, i also prefer to take photograph which is at the side. The reason is because side lighting can emphasize texture, dimension, shape and pattern of the object. It also can separate the subject from the background, provide the depth and texture too. For the depth, it shows the length and even the volume of the doggy pencil case. For the texture, it shows that it look like furry object which is similar to soft toys. I also realised that when taking the photograph at side light, it will provide a shadow which is facing to the opposite side of the lamp.

After spending so much time on reports, datasheets and case studies,
i finally relieved.
half of the burden is gone,
but there is another thing which i have not start yet.

ExteriorTitle: Natural Frame

Technique: Frame within a frame; The triangle

Description: I can hardly see a building which is near to a big pond in

Singapore

. When I take this shot, I knew that the lightings will be very nice when it comes to night time and also this is the very first time I took a shot which is frame within a frame. That is why I name my photo as “Natural Frame.”

Title: Beautiful Lightings

Technique: Frame within a frame; The triangle

Description: This photo gives me a very romantic atmosphere. It is just like when you are having a candle-light dinner with your loved one. I purposely took this photo because the lightings of this photo reflect the image to the water and it seems to be very nice. The most attracting part is the shelter. The lightings reflect and it seems like showing a mirror image. At the same time, the shelter also gives a leading way towards that building too.

InteriorTitle: Repeating Unit

Technique: Rhythm; The triangle; Leading lines

Description: This is the first time I see so many basins in the toilet and it is very clean. I found it very special as this row of basins give a leading line. It makes me feel like it is leading me to another place. I purposely take a diagonal shot because I think that it will make the basins even more. It was taken at day time.

Technique: The rule of thirds; Leading lines

Description: The lightings of the corridor give a shadow effect on the negative space. It is very unique as it gives me a feeling that it already has a design on the wall as well as the ground. Besides this, it also give me a leading way too. It was taken at night time.

Description: I took this photo with the punk outfit is because I want toexpress myself that I got emotional when I was in a bad or sad mood. I was wearing a black colour suit because I want to contrast the colour with the negative space to outshine myself. This shot was taken in a diagonal line and it shows that I have a strong determination. I do not like to talk much and loves to express myself in another way.

Technique: Horizontal lines; Vertical lines; Rhythm

Description: The previous photo shows a negative side of me. This photo shows a bright side of me. I am a person who loves to play soccer very much. I purposely took it at both horizontal line and vertical line. It can expressed myself that I am calm when problems come and also showing that I have strong determination and never give up at the very end. The flat have many windows and it shows a repeated pattern. It also gives a dynamic impact for me. The way I kick the ball tell that I am full of confident and loves to lead.

is the first day of school.

today is friday
i didn't realise today is qing ming jie..
until when i read one of my fren's blog then know abt it.
when on my way home,
i took a train from buona vista.
haha.
when i at the very last cabin of the train.
the very last door,
there is a mother with her son.
her son very cute.
the way he talk also very funny as well.
her son is just around age of 3 like that.
very young and intelligent.
when inside the train,
her son keep talking non-stop.
her son talk abt the train.
"where is the driver, mum?"..
then the mother reply and at the same time pointing at the last cabin door, "driver is at there"

then the son reply..

You can see many loving couples on the street. Everywhere around the world.

First of all, let me tell you about the definition of Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14. In North America, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.

HOW many people celebrate Valentine's Day?
Many people celebrate Valentine's Day.

Even single people also celebrate this day too. Some people remain single because they are secretly in love with a person who has a boyfriend/girlfriend. And how they celebrate? They will wish their love ones to be happy forever. At the same time, they also hope that miracle will happen on them. Their love ones can be with them one day.

There are some other people remain single for other reasons. Maybe because they do not want to start a relationship. They have been hurt once for their past relationship or they are mummy's boy or daddy's girl (why i said so because they are too obedient and listen to their parents not to start a relationship in such a young age).

Not only these. Maybe they have no confident with love, relationship or even themselves. Family problems or bad environment may give them a bad impression of starting a relationship or maybe because they thought that they are ugly. Also maybe they think that relationship may not give them any freedom they want. (For example, when you have a boyfriend/girlfriend.. you have to report to them whatever you do or where you go if they are a possessive person.)

The best people who celebrate Valentine's Day is LOVING COUPLES. They will be having a great time. Maybe at romantic environment or somewhere up at the hill watching stars in the sky.

There are couples who have plain relationship but they still celebrate Valentine's Day. They are not as happy as normal couples because they celebrate this day is not for the sake of love but for the sake of so called "Valentine's Day." It will be sad to see this type of things happen to you.

History of Valentine's Day
Numerous early Christian martyrs were named Valentine. Until 1969, the Catholic Church formally recognized eleven Valentine's Days. The Valentines honored on February 14 are:

Valentine of Rome (Valentinus presb. m. Romae): a priest in Rome who suffered martyrdom about AD 269 and was buried on the Via Flaminia. His relics are at the Church of Saint Praxed in Rome and at Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church in Dublin, Ireland.
Valentine of Terni (Valentinus ep. Interamnensis m. Romae): He became bishop of Interamna (modern Terni) about AD 197 and is said to have been killed during the persecution of Emperor Aurelian. He is also buried on the Via Flaminia, but in a different location than Valentine of Rome. His relics are at the Basilica of Saint Valentine in Terni (Basilica di San Valentino).

The Catholic Encyclopedia also speaks of a third saint named Valentine who was mentioned in early martyrologies under date of 14 February. He was martyred in Africa with a number of companions, but nothing more is known about him.

Some sources say the Valentine linked to romance is Valentine of Rome, others say Valentine of Terni. Some scholars (such as the Bollandists) have concluded that the two were originally the same person. In any case, no romantic elements are present in the original Early Medieval biographies of either of these martyrs.
An overview of attested traditions relevant to the holiday is presented below, with the legends about Valentine himself discussed in the end.

HOW people celebrate Valentine's Day

People celebrate this day in different type of ways. Americans have their own style of celebrating, asians will have their own style of celebrating. But the most important is the guy must be creative enough to plan on that day to give his love ones a SURPRISE. This is how "Valentine's Day" suppose to be. Not to let the girl to think of a plan to surprise the guy. That is not the way. If the guy do not know anything. He should go around asking people who has several relationship before. They might be able to help you.

Asians Valentine's Day is not on 14 February but on other days

Thanks to a concentrated marketing effort, Valentine's Day has emerged in Japan and Korea as a day on which women, and less commonly men, give candy, chocolate or flowers. It has become an obligation for many women to give chocolates to all male co-workers. In Japan this is known as giri-choko (義理チョコ), from the words giri ("obligation") and choko, ("chocolate"). This contrasts with honmei-choko (本命チョコ); chocolate given to a loved one. Friends, especially girls, may exchange chocolate referred to as tomo-choko (友チョコ); from tomo meaning "friend".

By a further marketing effort, a reciprocal day called White Day has emerged. On March 14, men are expected to return the favour to those who gave them chocolates on Valentine's Day. Originally, the return gift was supposed to be white chocolate or marshmallows; hence "White Day". However, lingerie and jewelry have become common gifts.

In South Korea, there is also Pepero Day, celebrated on November 11, when young couples give each other romantic gifts. There is an additional day for single people, Black Day, celebrated on April 14.

In Chinese culture, there is a counterpart to Valentine's Day, called "The Night of Sevens" (七夕); according to legend the Cowherd and the Weaver Maid meet in Heaven on the 7th day of the 7th month of the lunar calendar. A slightly different version of this day is celebrated in Japan as Tanabata, on July 7th of the solar calendar.

Why Valentine's Day is on 14 February

Though popular modern sources link unspecified Graeco-Roman February holidays alleged to be devoted to fertility and love to St Valentine's Day, Professor Jack Oruch of the University of Kansas argued that prior to Chaucer, no links between the Saints named Valentinus and romantic love existed. Thus whether or not in the ancient Athenian calendar, the period between mid-January and mid-February was the month of Gamelion, was dedicated to the sacred marriage of Zeus and Hera is immaterial.

In Ancient Rome, February 15 was Lupercalia, an archaic rite connected to fertility, without overtones of romance. Plutarch wrote:

Lupercalia, of which many write that it was anciently celebrated by shepherds, and has also some connection with the Arcadian Lycaea. At this time many of the noble youths and of the magistrates run up and down through the city naked, for sport and laughter striking those they meet with shaggy thongs. And many women of rank also purposely get in their way, and like children at school present their hands to be struck, believing that the pregnant will thus be helped in delivery, and the barren to pregnancy.

The word Lupercalia comes from lupus, or wolf, so the holiday may be connected with the legendary wolf that suckled Romulus and Remus. Priests of this cult, luperci would travel to the lupercal, the cave where the she-wolf who reared Romulus and Remus allegedly lived, and sacrifice animals (two goats and a dog). The blood would then be scattered in the streets, to bring fertility and keep the wolves away from the fields. Lupercalia was a festival local to the city of Rome. The more general Festival of Juno Februa, meaning "Juno the purifier "or "the chaste Juno," was celebrated on February 13-14. Pope Gelasius I (492-496) abolished Lupercalia.
